In an ever-uncertain world, leadership attitude, including resilience, mindset and an ability to deal with emotional interferences will become more significant in determining an individual’s leadership ability. A designated leader can never hope to lead others unless they are able to lead themselves first…and are seen to lead themselves.
This session will explore how leaders increase capacity for improvement, across the whole school, by focusing on themselves first…’The problem is part of me, therefore, I am part of the problem’.
A school’s overall effectiveness is a direct influence of the organisation’s capacity for improvement. Increasing a school’s capacity for improvement must be a priority for any educational leader and a recognition that it starts and ends with themselves.
