Strand 13i: Curriculum Thinking ROOM 017 | 13:30 to 14:15

Clare Sealy, Headteacher, St Matthias School

If a school’s curriculum is to be coherent then it needs to tell a story, or several  overlapping stories. In this session, Clare Sealy will explore how to build a curriculum with a strong narrative, using the box set as a metaphor. We will think about how plot recaps, backstory, foreshadowing, flashbacks and framing devices are useful ways of thinking about making our curriculum hang together in a coherent and intriguing way.
