Teenagers are constantly battling with the shift from childhood to adulthood. They are insecure about their changing bodies, feel enormous pressures to fit in (both on and offline), and are struggling to develop their own identities and beliefs. Add to this the increasing pressures of school, from the demands of content driven exams to stressful schedules and high expectations, and we have a recipe for meltdown. This session aims to explore how yoga and meditation can be used as a tool to help our young people cope with the stresses of day to day life, both in and out of school and how it can have a positive impact on overall wellbeing and mental health.
